Focus on Eternity

Yesterday I was listening to a broadcast about "The Dash". In a tombstone where the date of birth and the date of death was etched, there is a dash in between, that is what they were talking about. I have heard about "The Dash" before but while I was being reminded of it again yesterday it struck my heart.

What do I do with the time I spent here on earth? Am I doing my assignments, my calling from God? Am I living my life in light of eternity? Am I too comfortable here on earth? Do I gear my decisions towards having my life more predictable and with less risks?

All the more it encourages me to go back to the Purpose-Driven Life question... "What On Earth Am I Here For?"

I thank God for reminding me again, to Focus on Eternity. To choose wisely on what I would do with my one and only life. (CAM)
