Division Inside God's Family

In Judges 12, God's people (Gileadites and Ephraimites) started to fight against each other.

God does not intend for His own people to deal with each other the way He wanted them to deal with their enemies. Clearly in this passage, they killed each other the same way they killed their enemies.

God surely wants His people to live in peace and unity. His plan for us is to be united each step of the way. If there is division in the Body of Christ, it is a direct offense to the Lord more than an offense between two parties.

Knowing that division offends God, we should see it as enough reason or motivation for us to lay down our pride and seek unity in the Body.

*"The Body of Christ
Is the Lord's design
Where sweet unity reflects His face."

"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!"

Let us not offend our Lord...
