"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility"

1. Arrogance in the life of Samson is his failure to acknowledge God's design in even the small things (drinking of wine, not touching a dead body, not cutting hair). The more arrogant or self-confident we are the more we are susceptible to sin and chaos and destruction.

2. Samson have been given privileges (good heritage, born Nazirite, Spirit's enablement) and with this privileges comes responsiblities. God has given Samson "great power" to be used for His glory. Sadly, for most of his life, Samson used these privileges only to glorify himself.

3. The life of Samson shows us how God would fulfills His purpose even through people who are not worthy. GOD IS SOVEREIGN ABOVE ALL. He does what He said He would do. He uses people but His work does not totally rely on them.
