Sometimes I wonder what God can do through me inspite of me. There are some things that I wanted to do for Him but I retreat because I am not good at it. The Book of Judges was a good reminder to me that I should do the opposite, I should step into faith because it is God's empowerment that can accomplish things through me and not anything manufactured solely from my own doing.
The major lesson we should learn from Shamgar is that a shady personal background and lack of proper equipment do not keep God from working through people who commit to doing His will. Many Christians think that because they do not have a good background or the best tools they cannot serve God. If we commit ourselves to executing God's will and use whatever background and equipment we have, God can accomplish a great deal through us.*

I agree Tita. Pastor Brenton once told us that "we should start out with the small things that we have first and work from there." God will eventually bring us more...responsibilities, things, blessings...
